Key Features

Through the dedicated seismic performance process menu, MIDAS CIVIL NX calculates both the holding and required performance of bridges and provides a detailed seismic performance assessment report that reflects the results of nonlinear section analysis and seismic analysis. Dynamic boundary nonlinear analysis enables precise analysis of bridge structures by considering the nonlinearity of foundation separation devices. Using MIDAS CIVIL NX's Pushover analysis feature, the software can compare the resistance capacity of structures after yield with the required seismic response by considering the nonlinear material properties of components. Additionally, the software provides an inelastic time history analysis, which predicts the inelastic behavior of components using a simplified hysteretic model and helps understand the seismic response characteristics of structures.
