With MIDAS CIVIL NX, you can create various models, not just bridges but also structures like culverts and arches, using the provided Wizards. Especially for special structural types such as cable-stayed bridges and cable bridges, you can easily generate simulation models through simple numerical input. Additionally, you can apply and verify all the necessary load conditions for structural safety assessment of civil structures using the load application feature through a user-friendly GUI.

Base Structure & Cable Bridge Wizard
MIDAS CIVIL NX offers Base Structure wizards including Beam, Column, Arch, Frame, Truss, Plate, Shell, and Cable Bridge types like Suspension Bridge and Cable Stayed Bridge. The Suspension Bridge wizard automatically determines 2D or 3D shapes and computes stress-free cable and hanger forces. The Cable Stayed Bridge wizard generates a 2D model considering symmetrical or asymmetrical span bridges, trusses, box girders, and reinforcement types.
Rail Track Analysis Wizard
It automatically generates models for Simplified Separate Analysis and Complete Analysis as recommended by UIC774-3R. The Complete Analysis accounts for train load progression, adjusting boundary conditions for each step where the train load advances or retreats. It allows precise examination of stress locations under practical conditions and automatic generation of models with applied boundary and load conditions for additional scrutiny.
Composite Wizard
MIDAS CIVIL NX offers Prestress Composite and Steel Composite wizards. The Composite wizard handles construction stages for both straight and curved bridges, automatic creation of composite girder design load combinations, construction, strength, serviceability, and fatigue limit state checks, Excel-format calculation report generation, spreadsheet-style tables, and design result diagrams.
PSC Box Bridge Wizard
MIDAS CIVIL NX provides FCM, MSS, FSM, ILM, Transverse Model, and Grillage Model wizards. The wizard considering construction methods significantly reduces the modeling time for PSC Box Bridges, incorporating construction stages. The Transverse Model wizard creates the transverse analysis model automatically from the longitudinal frame model, allowing the definition of loads, tendons, and reinforcement. The Grillage Model wizard automatically generates a grid model with the web as the main element for Multi-Cell PSC Box Girder Bridges.
RC Structure Wizard
MIDAS CIVIL NX offers RC Slab Bridge and RC Frame/Box Culvert wizards. The RC Slab Bridge wizard automatically generates the influence line model of an RC slab bridge by inputting only basic variables. The RC Frame/Box Culvert wizard generates various reinforced concrete ramen bridges such as general, underground, Pi-shaped, and underground abutment types. It allows easy modeling of diverse loads applied to structures, considering not only the structure but also ground conditions.
