This consideration can be applied to both 1D beam elements and 2D plate elements. By applying the transverse vehicle load optimization option, you can easily identify the position of the element with the highest demand forces when vehicle loads are applied within the lane width. Furthermore, you can define impact load factors for all limit states, and you can define dynamic characteristics of moving loads as a function of span length, enabling the consideration of moving loads under various conditions.

You can generate a continuum model of the ground and update the ground displacement as a ground spring constant for the superstructure using MIDAS's detailed analysis program in the geotechnical field.
